Chicken with Prosciutto & Cheese

This is an attractive dish and very elegant to come from a BBQ but this is where the EGG comes into its own. You have all the benefits of outdoor cooking and flavors of the coals but the benefits of your oven. Temperature control and an air tight environment. You'll be cooking on you EGG all year round.

Ingredients

  •  Fresh Sage Leaves 
  • Chicken Breasts 
  • 1/4 cups (60 ml) Stilton Cheese - roughly sliced 
  • 4 strips Prosciutto 

Instructions

Step 1

Preheat Egg to 350°F/176°C.

Step 2

Make a slit in the chicken breast to create a pocket.(see techniques)

Step 3

Place 2 sage leaves and the Stilton cheese and press into each pocket. Push the edges of the pocket together to cover the cheese and enclose inside the chicken.

Step 4

Wrap 2 slices of prosciutto around the chicken.

Step 5

Place on the Egg and cook for 35 minutes until chicken is tender
