Ingredients

  •  8-11 lb. Spiral Sliced, fully cooked ham 
  • 1 cup (240 ml) Brown Sugar 
  • 1 cup (240 ml) BBQ Rub (SuckleBusters Pecan BBQ Rub works great) 
  • 1/4 teaspoons (1.3 ml) Nutmeg 
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) Cinnamon 
  • 1 bottle Honey BBQ Glaze

Instructions

Step 1

Mix the brown sugar, BBQ Rub (A pecan rub is great such as SuckleBusters Pecan BBQ Rub), nutmeg, and cinnamon together until blended well

Step 2

Rub mix all over the spiral sliced ham sitting in aluminum pan

Step 3

Preheat your Big Green Egg to 250°F/121°C set up for indirect cooking (smoking) with convEGGtor

Step 4

Add chunks of apple and pecan wood

Step 5

Place the ham in the pan inside the Big Green Egg

Step 6

Smoke 2-3 hours applying the glaze every 30 minutes until the ham reaches 140°F/60°C internally

Step 7

Let it rest for 5-10 minutes and serve
