Blue Cheese Crusted Steak

  • steaks, about 1 inch thick 
  •  Salt and black pepper to taste 
  • 1 cup (240 ml) crumbled blue cheese 
  • 1/2 cups (120 ml) breadcrumbs 
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced 
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) fresh parsley, chopped 
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) olive oil 

Tangy Dijon Mustard Sauce

  • 1/4 cups (60 ml) Dijon mustard 
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) mayonnaise 
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) lemon juice 
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) honey 
  •  Salt and black pepper to taste 



Step 1

1. Preheat your grill to 450 degreesF for direct cooking.

2. Generously season both sides of the steaks with salt and black pepper.

3. In a bowl, combine the crumbled blue cheese, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, and chopped parsley.

4. Drizzle olive oil over the steaks and rub it in to create a light, even coating.

5. Take the blue cheese mixture and press it onto one side of each steak, covering the entire surface.

6. Place the steaks on the preheated grill, crust-side down, and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare. Adjust the cooking time according to your desired level of doneness (rare, medium, or well-done).
